About the role#
Repsol is seeking a Production Engineering Intern to support our team in The Woodlands, Texas. This role focuses on maximizing returns from Eagle Ford production through cost-effective engineering practices. You will work on live projects covering design, planning, monitoring, and optimization of assets from the sand face to the sales point. At the end of your internship, you will present your summer project to our staff.
What you'll do#
- Support the validation of the production back allocation process to analyze daily production figures.
- Identify deferred production and establish corrective actions to minimize economic and production impact.
- Analyze current lifting systems to propose and implement optimization opportunities.
- Compile and analyze budget inputs related to OPEX for economic optimization.
- Track the annual data acquisition plan for production and reservoir requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate field visits with your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or higher degree program in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, or Electrical Engineering.
- Successful completion of at least 2 years of coursework toward your degree.
- A cumulative and major GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Full authorization to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship.
- Ability to commit to a continuous 12-week period from May 17th to August 6th, 2027.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in The Woodlands, Texas.
- You must be available for the full duration of the program from May 17th to August 6th, 2027.
- Non-local candidates are responsible for their own travel and housing arrangements, though a summer stipend is provided to offset expenses.
