About the role#
As a Systems Engineer Co-op at RoviSys Building Technologies, you will work alongside an experienced project team. Your specific tasks will be assigned by a lead engineer based on project needs and your individual capabilities.
What you'll do#
You will assist with various phases of project lifecycles, ranging from initial design to onsite startup. Your responsibilities include:
- Creating instrument lists by reviewing P&ID drawings.
- Compiling submittal and procurement documentation for hardware.
- Providing technical support for panel fabrication and inspecting completed enclosures.
- Participating in customer design reviews and demonstrations.
- Assembling development systems using project hardware.
- Configuring HMI screens and DDC, PLC, or DCS control algorithms.
- Drafting system documentation and training materials.
- Installing software and performing onsite calibration, tuning, and loop checks.
- Troubleshooting installation issues and programming field modifications.
- Helping develop commissioning test plans and redlines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Full-time student status with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Interest in solving technical problems and developing solutions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- Compensation: $24 per hour.
