About the role#
Systems Engineer Co-ops work with experienced project teams to support building technology projects. You will receive assignments from a lead engineer based on project needs and your individual capabilities.
What you'll do#
- Create instrument lists from P&ID drawings and compile procurement documentation.
- Support panel fabrication technicians and inspect completed control enclosures.
- Participate in customer design review meetings.
- Assemble development systems using project hardware.
- Configure HMI screens and DDC or PLC control algorithms.
- Draft system documentation and assist with customer demonstrations.
- Install software and configurations on site systems.
- Perform loop checks, calibration, and system tuning.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and program field modifications.
- Assist with commissioning test plans and training documentation.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- An interest in problem solving and developing technical solutions.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid Summer 2027 co-op position.
- The role is based on-site in Peachtree City, Georgia.
- Pay is $24 to $25 per hour.
- Travel incentives and per-diem packages are provided for out of town field assignments.
