About the role#
The Excellence in Ag Student program offers a path for students to gain field experience and build a career in the agribusiness industry. You will join the Agro Team at a local co-operative, where you will learn how the retail business functions across seed, crop protection, equipment, fertilizer, and feed sectors.
What you'll do#
- Complete training plans to understand the retail business while providing agronomic information to customers.
- Participate in field activities including scouting, soil test recommendations, and crop planning.
- Work with customers to expand awareness of Co-op agronomic services and product lines.
- Adopt and become proficient in the AgZone digital platform for product forecasting and sales targets.
- Develop and deliver marketing programs and resolve product performance inquiries.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a diploma or degree program in agriculture at an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Registration, or eligibility for registration, with the respective provincial Professional Institute of Agrology.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
- Creative and resourceful approach to work.

- Location: Saskatchewan, Canada.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship with a rolling term.
