About the role#
We are looking for a part-time Liquor Clerk to join our team in Melfort. This role focuses on customer service, store maintenance, and inventory handling. You will work on-site and must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
What you'll do#
- Process customer purchases at the cash register, including coupons and cheque authorizations.
- Receive, examine, and warehouse liquor merchandise.
- Help plan and organize merchandise displays for regular stock and promotions.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by performing general housekeeping duties.
- Stock shelves, face products, and assist with store opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor the store to prevent unauthorized removal of merchandise.
- Maintain a professional approach regarding your attitude, dependability, and appearance.
What you'll need#
- A valid driver license and you must be at least 19 years old.
- You must be bondable.
- Physical ability to repetitively lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
- The Serve It Right Saskatchewan course is an asset.
- Beverage alcohol product knowledge certification is an asset.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or Human Resources is welcome.
