About the role#
Schonfeld is looking for a Business Analytics Intern to join our team for a ten-week program during the summer of 2027. You will work alongside professionals on high-profile projects, gaining exposure to how data drives decision-making across departments like trading, risk, and operations. You will have a dedicated manager and mentor to guide your work and professional development throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Acquire and process data to solve business problems for stakeholders across the firm.
- Use Python, SQL, and Power BI to transform and analyze data.
- Improve data quality and streamline manual processes.
- Build reports and support reporting infrastructure.
- Propose analytics to help drive decision-making and problem-solving.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
- An analytical mindset and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in New York, New York.
- The program runs for ten weeks during the summer of 2027.
