About the role#
This is a full-time, 12-week summer internship within the Digital Analytics Department. You will support research and development by turning digital and financial data into insights for mobile app and online banking experiences. The program runs from May 2027 to August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform research and exploratory analysis on competitive intelligence and emerging trends in mobile banking.
- Explore datasets using available technologies and tools.
- Write SQL or Python code to summarize and analyze data.
- Group data, assess trends, and interpret moderately complex results.
- Develop data dictionaries and source-to-target mapping documentation.
- Apply data science techniques, such as logistic regression, machine learning, or forecasting.
- Collaborate with business intelligence and data science team members.
- Participate in project planning and Agile/Kanban stand-ups.
- Document findings and present insights through written, verbal, and visual communication.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Academic focus in an analytical discipline such as economics, finance, data science, statistics, or mathematics.
- Knowledge of data gathering, compilation, and management.
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, or similar languages for data exploration, preparation, and modeling.
- Ability and willingness to learn data and cloud environments like Azure and Databricks.
- Technical writing and data storytelling skills.
- Ability to collaborate, build relationships, manage time, and work both independently and as part of a team.
