About the role#
This summer internship focuses on the Warehouse Management System at School Specialty. You will work on-site in Mansfield, Ohio, gaining experience in IT and program management. You will work alongside a designated mentor who will provide guidance, assign projects, and support your professional growth throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience with the Warehouse Management System through configuration, coding, and formal training.
- Assist end-users by triaging issues related to the Warehouse Management System.
- Learn the software development lifecycle and the importance of thorough documentation.
- Complete tasks and projects that support the team and department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to work full-time hours (40 hours per week) during the summer of 2027.
- Strong technical orientation and computer navigation skills.
- Self-motivation and a desire to continue your professional growth.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
