About the role#
The Management and Sales Internship is a paid 10-12 week summer program based in Boise, Idaho. It offers hands-on experience in retail store operations, sales, and management. You will work directly in a paint store environment to gain practical business-to-business and retail experience. The program includes structured time with management teams and opportunities to travel with a Sales Representative to learn about outside sales. You will also work with fellow interns on a team-based project that addresses a specific business challenge.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and recommend items that meet customer needs.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions, product preparation, and paint mixing.
- Support inventory management, restock shelves, and contribute to visual merchandising.
- Collaborate with other interns to complete a project focused on a business challenge.
- Perform general store maintenance tasks.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, and Communications.
