About the role#
The Management and Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program. It provides hands-on experience in retail stores, offering insight into management, sales, and store operations. You will work with a management team and travel with a Sales Representative to gain exposure to outside sales. Interns also collaborate on a team-based business project to address specific company issues.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and provide item recommendations to customers.
- Restock shelves and support visual merchandising efforts.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions and product preparation.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a team-based business project.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be enrolled in a college or university.
- Must be a rising or current Junior or Senior.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management is preferred.
