About the role#
The Management and Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program. It provides hands-on experience in retail paint stores. You will gain insight into management, sales, and store operations while working alongside store leadership. The program includes traveling with a Sales Representative and completing a team-based project that addresses a real business challenge.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and recommend items to customers.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions and general store maintenance.
- Restock shelves and support inventory management.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a team-based project to solve business issues.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must be enrolled in a college or university as a rising or current Junior or Senior.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
