About the role#
The Management and Sales Summer Internship is a paid, 10-12-week program focused on retail operations, sales, and management. You will gain practical experience in a paint store setting, including time spent with Sales Representatives and store management. Interns work on a team-based project that addresses a real business challenge or store initiative.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions, product preparation, mixing, and general store maintenance.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a team-based project to solve business challenges.
- Support team members in resolving basic customer concerns and completing shared tasks.
- Restock shelves, support inventory management, and contribute to visual merchandising efforts.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the program.
- Must be a rising or current Junior or Senior in college or university.
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
