About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Indianapolis. You will work on-site to support the financial analysis of capital investments, including new developments, renovations, and acquisitions. This role involves working with developers, leasing teams, and senior management to assess the financial impact of business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Prepare development budgets and project pro forma income for capital investments ranging from small projects to those exceeding $100 million.
- Evaluate property and portfolio acquisition candidates by analyzing historical and projected cash flows and investment yields.
- Monitor the effectiveness of development activity against projected income levels.
- Provide analytical support to the leasing team for lease settlements and national tenant deals.
- Create cash flow projections for prospective equity partners and lenders.
- Assist with special financial analyses for senior executives and the Board of Directors.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong analytical skills.
