About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Mechanical Intern position located in Overland Park, Kansas. We offer a rolling internship term for students pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Please note that we do not provide sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering staff with technical activities on assigned projects.
- Learn the technical policies and procedures of the discipline.
- Participate in technical studies, investigations, and design tasks.
- Support the project team in the production of project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program.
- Ability to learn the basics of design and analysis within the discipline.
- Potential for future employment and professional growth within the firm.
- Basic computer skills for email and document production.
- Ability to navigate construction sites to inspect contractor work.
- Physical ability to manipulate plans and lift up to 30 pounds.
