About the role#
We are hiring a Mechanical Intern to join our team in Dallas. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date. You will work on-site and gain hands-on experience in engineering design and consulting.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering staff with technical project activities.
- Learn our internal technical policies and procedures.
- Participate in technical studies, investigations, and design work.
- Help the project team produce project deliverables.
- Inspect work performed by contractors at job sites.
- Handle and manipulate project plans.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering program.
- Ability to learn the basics of design and analysis.
- Potential for long-term growth within our firm.
- Proficiency with a computer for email and document production.
- Ability to navigate construction sites.
- Capacity to lift plans weighing up to 30 pounds.
