About the role#
SRF Consulting Group is seeking a roadway design intern to join our Civil Design Group in Minneapolis. This role supports the design of highways, local roads, public utilities, and related infrastructure. You will work up to 40 hours per week during the summer, with the potential for part-time hours during the school year. This position may lead to full-time employment after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Assist design teams with layouts, plans, reports, studies, and contract documents.
- Prepare project cost estimates.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate civil engineering program.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to self-start.
- A collaborative, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, and organized approach.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Bentley 3D design tools is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
