About the role#
SRF Consulting Group is hiring an intern to join the Water Resources team. You will work alongside project engineers on a variety of water resources projects in a team environment. This is a paid, full-time internship with the potential for full-time employment after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Assist with roadway drainage system layout and design.
- Support site design tasks, including BMP design, modeling, and Low Impact Development (LID) practices.
- Help design stormwater reuse systems and green infrastructure.
- Perform Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling.
- Assist with wetland and floodplain mitigation analysis and permitting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Civil Engineering or Biosystems Engineering.
- Completed coursework or an academic emphasis in hydrology or water resources.
- Strong communication skills.
- An enthusiastic attitude.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
