About the role#
The Student Nurse Achievement Program (SNAP I & II) offers nursing students the opportunity to gain clinical experience across multiple specialty areas. You will work under the direction of an RN or LPN to support patient care needs within our health system.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Assist patients with their daily activities.
- Support patient comfort and personal care needs.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment for your assigned patients.
What you'll need#
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in good standing at an accredited nursing program.
- Successful completion of your first clinical rotation.
- A minimum 2.75 GPA.
- You must not be listed on the Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry.
- Basic math and computer skills, along with effective communication abilities.
