About the role#
We are hiring a Construction Project Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Hawthorne, New Jersey. This is a full-time, paid internship where you will apply your classroom knowledge to real construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Provide project management support.
- Assist with estimating and budget preparation.
- Manage job costs and project scheduling.
- Track production rates on active sites.
- Support safety management and quality control.
- Assist with client relations and business development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and organizational habits.
- Proficiency with computers.
- A positive outlook and the ability to work well within a team.
