About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in the Los Angeles area. You will work on-site, applying your academic knowledge to real construction projects while developing new professional skills.
What you'll do#
As a Construction Project Engineer Intern, you will provide direct support to the project management team. Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with project management tasks
- Preparing estimates and budgets
- Managing job costs and project schedules
- Tracking production rates
- Supporting client relations and business development
- Participating in safety and quality control management
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or holding a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency with computers
- A positive outlook and a team-oriented mindset
