About the role#
We are looking for a Software Engineer in Data intern to join our growing data team. You will work on projects spanning from application development to our enterprise data warehouse. You will own, build, and maintain processes to ensure end-to-end reliability for our data systems.
What you'll do#
- Ship technically challenging projects from start to finish.
- Own features, services, caches, and databases, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing.
- Write production-ready, well-tested code.
- Work on our product analytics backend service and data pipelines.
- Ingest, clean, validate, and organize raw data for product and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement improved, automated processes.
What you'll need#
- At least 8 months of backend development work experience.
- Experience taking ownership and shipping entire features end-to-end.
- A good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Interest in working with ETL/ELT tools and building data pipelines.
- Interest in designing schemas, data modeling, and working with data warehouses.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4 to August 27, 2027).
- Modality: Remote (must maintain a 6-hour overlap with Eastern Time).
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Paid position.
