About the role#
Super.com is hiring Software Engineering Interns for a 12-month term starting in January 2027. You will join our engineering team to work on travel, fintech, and membership projects. Our services handle thousands of requests per second and process significant daily sales volume. You will work alongside full-time developers on core projects and contribute to code that reaches production.
What you'll do#
- Ship technically challenging projects from start to finish.
- Own features, services, caches, and databases including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing.
- Write production-ready, well-tested code.
- Work on a combination of frontend and backend tasks across multiple services and codebases.
- Perform experiments for features you launch to understand their impact on user experience.
What you'll need#
- At least 8 months of web development work experience.
- Experience working with a modern frontend JS framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Experience working with web servers.
- A background in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Ability to take ownership and ship entire features end-to-end.
- Interest in working with React on the frontend and Python on the backend.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, remote position for candidates based in Canada.
- You must be available to work a 40-hour work week with a minimum 6-hour overlap with Eastern Time.
- Term dates: January 4, 2027 to December 17, 2027.
