About the role#
This Nurse Extern position in Labor and Delivery is a developmental program for nursing students. You will gain clinical experience across multiple specialties while participating in a guided training program. The role focuses on supporting the Registered Nursing staff and performing direct patient care activities.
What you'll do#
- Provide essential assistance and comfort to patients.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of patient care.
- Observe and evaluate patient care activities.
- Report significant observations to a Registered Nurse.
- Assist the Registered Nursing staff with daily duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of your first clinical rotation.
- A valid AHA BLS certification.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position with a rolling term.
