About the role#
As a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Analyst Intern, you will work with our team to improve operational efficiency and reduce losses across the plant. This role involves collaborating with production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to support continuous improvement. You will gain exposure to both shop floor operations and data-driven decision making.
What you'll do#
- Develop and improve digital solutions for loss identification and analysis.
- Lead WCM governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create training plans and procedures while monitoring compliance for new hires and internal transfers.
- Support WCM and Education and Training (E&T) projects.
- Identify and eliminate operational losses to improve process stability.
- Maintain performance tracking dashboards and conduct root cause investigations.
- Participate in Kaizen activities and cross-functional improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science.
- Interest in continuous improvement methodologies and project management.
- Ideally, some previous manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of sustainability is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Vancouver, Washington.
- Duration: May 31, 2027, to November 19, 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time until mid-August, transitioning to part-time (maximum 20 hours per week) thereafter.
- Compensation: $22-$25 per hour.
- This is an on-site position. Sponsorship is not available.
