About the role#
This internship program provides hands-on experience in a corporate setting. You will work with a mentor and a network of colleagues to develop your professional skills. The program is designed to provide practical experience in quality assurance and logistics within our Vancouver factory.
What you'll do#
- Improve databases for internal procedures and train operators on their use.
- Create reports to track material inventory, roll stock utilization, and internal logistics costs.
- Build tools to visually track warehouse utilization.
- Analyze warehouse layouts to propose improvements that reduce handling time and increase space.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- Entering the final two years of your degree program.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer period.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel.
- Experience with PowerBI, SAP, and AI prompting.
- Strong communication skills and a preference for teamwork.
