    About the role#

    Texas Instruments is hiring a Construction Science Intern to provide project management and field oversight for construction projects in the Dallas area. This position involves working within active manufacturing facilities to ensure projects are completed safely and reliably.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide field oversight for projects of varying sizes and coordinate with skilled trades personnel.
    • Develop project schedules and budgetary estimates based on customer requests.
    • Manage field issues to minimize impacts to project budgets and timelines.
    • Provide construction administration within operating manufacturing facilities.
    • Complete projects safely with zero impact to customer operations.
    • Interface with project managers and customer organizations to maintain clear communication.

    What you'll need#

    • Progressing toward a bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
    • Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint, AutoCAD, and Adobe Pro.
    • Strong analytical skills for assessing problems and developing corrective actions.
    • Excellent time management and the ability to advance multiple projects concurrently.
    • Professional communication skills and the ability to influence others across all levels of management.
    • A commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
