About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern works closely with the Store Manager to understand retail operations and management. You will gain hands-on experience by completing specific sections of the Buckle Management Manual, including Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring. This position involves managing a product category, setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results. You will provide weekly progress updates to the Area and District Managers.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide service throughout the store.
- Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks such as cashiering, merchandise displays, and facility cleaning.
- Manage a specific product category by setting goals and tracking performance.
- Participate in monthly conference calls and complete required internship assignments.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Assist with recruiting efforts and contribute to a positive floor culture.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
