About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern works closely with the Store Manager to learn the retail business and management operations. You will focus on creating an enjoyable shopping experience for Guests while completing specific internship tasks like orientation, leadership training, and managing product categories. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Greet Guests with a friendly attitude and provide helpful service.
- Recommend merchandise based on Guest needs and help them try on items.
- Maintain and share knowledge of current sales, promotions, and store policies.
- Present merchandise to maximize sales and handle freight or re-merchandising tasks.
- Complete weekly reports and progress updates for leadership.
- Manage a specific product category by setting goals and tracking results.
- Perform operational tasks including cashiering, register procedures, and cleaning.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- An interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
- No prior experience or training is required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs in the store and backroom.
