About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern works directly with the Store Manager to learn the operational and retail aspects of the business. You will focus on creating an enjoyable shopping experience for guests while gaining hands-on management experience. This is a part-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide consistent service.
- Demonstrate products using your knowledge to help guests find items and create a wardrobing experience.
- Share product knowledge and sales education with your teammates.
- Complete sections of the Buckle Management Manual covering orientation, leadership, and hiring.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, tracking results, and educating the team.
- Perform operational tasks including cashiering, merchandise displays, and routine facility cleaning.
- Provide weekly progress reports to the Area and District Managers.
- Maintain and build guest relationships to support a client-based business.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with Buckle.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds throughout the store and backroom.
- Note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
