About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within the Client Technical Services department. You will assist employees and volunteers with technical support to further the mission of the Church. This is a full-time, paid position lasting approximately 4 months.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to employees and volunteers.
- Perform disk wiping and disk imaging.
- Maintain asset management practices.
- Troubleshoot system connectivity and network technologies.
- Prioritize tasks in a professional office environment.
- Work in a physical office setting, which includes sitting for long periods and using computer equipment.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 lbs and reaching under desks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or graduation within the last year from an accredited college or university.
- A major in Computer Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Status as a temple-worthy member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
- A general interest in technology and computer support.
- Functional knowledge of Windows and Mac platforms.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Technical certifications such as A+ or Network+ are preferred.
Location & details#
- Locations: Salt Lake City, Riverton, or West Valley, Utah.
- Terms: Winter 2027 or Summer 2027.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- Benefits: Full-time interns have the option to enroll in a high deductible medical plan.
