    About the role#

    The Radiologic Technologist - Externship Coordinator serves as a bridge between students, faculty, and clinical partners. You will manage student placements and ensure they are ready for their clinical rotations. This role requires someone who understands the clinical environment and can build professional relationships with local healthcare facilities.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, imaging centers, and other healthcare facilities.
    • Coordinate student externship placements and verify students are prepared for their assigned sites.
    • Act as the primary liaison between students, faculty, and clinical site supervisors.
    • Conduct clinical site visits to maintain strong partnerships.
    • Monitor student progress and performance throughout their externship experience.

    What you'll need#

    • Completion of a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) Program or Certificate Program with 3+ years of related experience, OR completion of a Radiologic Technology Associate's Degree Program with 2+ years of related experience.
    • Related professional experience in a clinical healthcare, radiology, or imaging environment.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple students and clinical sites simultaneously.
