About the role#
The Hanover Insurance Group is hiring an intern for the Professional Liability Underwriting team. This role is a full-time, 10-week summer program designed to provide practical experience in the insurance industry. You will work directly with underwriters and team members to gain insight into daily business operations.
What you'll do#
- Support underwriting functions by working alongside assigned underwriters.
- Assist with day-to-day transactions including quoting, endorsements, and documentation.
- Complete a specific project assigned by the Professional Liability Department.
- Develop and deliver a final presentation for management and leadership regarding your summer work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or advanced degree program, with a preference for Finance or Economics majors.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Availability for a full-time, 10-week commitment during the summer of 2027.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
