About the role#
The University of New Mexico is hiring four students for an Archaeology Student Crew. This role supports the Office of Contract Archeology (OCA) during a transition period. You will assist with the physical relocation of the lab and offices in October 2026. Following the move, your responsibilities will shift toward administrative or lab-based tasks.
What you'll do#
- Pack and move equipment and materials to relocate the lab and offices.
- Use Adobe Photoshop to create design elements for research papers.
- Share your ideas and knowledge to help develop research content.
- Transition into ongoing lab or office administrative duties once the move is complete.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to office relocation.
- Academic background in Anthropology or History.
