    About the role#

    Student Managers support the Supplemental Instruction (SI) program at the Center for Teaching and Learning. You will provide mentorship and guidance to SI leaders while working alongside the Student Success Supervisor, Assistant Coordinator, and faculty members. This role involves administrative coordination and operational support for the program.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide administrative coordination and expertise for the SI program.
    • Participate in planning meetings and support daily operations.
    • Co-facilitate staff evaluations using data.
    • Lead weekly training sessions for student employees.
    • Give presentations to student groups and classes to represent the Center for Teaching and Learning.
    • Model professional ethics and uphold program policies.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in at least 6 credit hours at the University of New Mexico.
    • A minimum 3.0 GPA.
    • Availability for 15 to 20 hours of work per week.
    • Ability to attend pre-semester training the week before classes begin.
    • Attendance at weekly Friday training sessions from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
    • Flexibility to work occasional evening shifts.

    • This is a paid, part-time position.
