About the role#
The Office of Advising Strategies is hiring a Professional Intern to support the UNM Student Hub, which is a Salesforce application. This role offers on-the-job training for a recent graduate interested in higher education, technology, and business operations. You will work with the Student Hub team to help users navigate system processes, manage training materials, and maintain system data.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate communications about training, onboarding, and system updates.
- Create and update training videos and learning materials.
- Provide basic issue triage for faculty, staff, and students, escalating complex cases to the team.
- Assist staff with building, cleaning, and maintaining basic system areas.
- Support data validation projects.
- Test new system features and document the results.
What you'll need#
- You are a recent graduate.
- You have a background in Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, Data Science, or Media Studies.
- You can adapt to new technology quickly.
- You can explain complex processes in an accessible way.
- You work well independently and can collaborate with diverse campus partners.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- This is an on-site, full-time role with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- This is a paid, fixed-term position with a duration of two years from the date of hire.
