    About the role#

    The Student Manager for the Learning Strategies Program supports the Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of New Mexico. This position involves guiding Learning Strategists and assisting with the daily operations of academic support services. You will work alongside the Student Success Supervisor, Assistant Coordinator, and faculty to maintain program standards.

    What you'll do#

    • Coordinate administrative tasks and provide expertise for the Learning Strategies Program.
    • Join planning meetings and help manage day-to-day operations.
    • Co-facilitate staff evaluations using data.
    • Lead weekly training sessions for student employees focusing on tutoring and academic support.
    • Present information about Center for Teaching and Learning services to student groups and classes.
    • Model professional ethics and uphold program policies.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in at least 6 credit hours at the University of New Mexico in a degree-seeking program.
    • A minimum 3.0 GPA.
    • Availability to work 15 to 20 hours per week.
    • Ability to attend pre-semester training the week before classes start.
    • Ability to attend mandatory weekly Friday trainings from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
    • Flexibility to work occasional evening shifts.
    • Preferred majors include Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology.

    • This is an on-site position based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
    • This role is for the Fall 2026 term.
    • This is a paid, part-time position.
