About the role#
The Walsh Group offers a co-op program designed to prepare students for future leadership roles. You will participate in a structured learning plan across 3 to 5 work rotations. This program balances your academic studies with practical work experience in the construction industry. We aim to train you for a full-time position upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers and field supervision staff with daily project coordination.
- Estimate costs for change orders.
- Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
- Manage the scheduling of contracts and materials.
- Write RFIs and submittals.
- Participate in team meetings and support safety management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university cooperative education program.
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week work schedule.
- Willingness to relocate if required by specific project roles.
