About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacist Intern position based at the Nampa Medical Campus. You will work under the supervision of registered pharmacists to perform professional pharmacy functions. This role follows a rotating shift schedule.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and dispense medication orders based on physician requests.
- Support pharmacists and other healthcare providers in the delivery of patient care.
- Ensure accurate documentation for all services and supplies provided to patients.
- Assist with maintaining safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapies.
- Contribute to the overall quality and operation of the pharmacy department.
- Communicate with medical staff and other health professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Registration as an Extern or Intern by the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy or the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy.
- Basic computer skills and strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Health system or pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
