About the role#
Turner Construction Company is hiring for a full-time Co-Op position in Buffalo, New York. This role spans the Winter and Summer 2027 terms. You will work on-site at an active construction project, a main office department, or within a specialized division like Special Projects or Self Perform Operations. The position provides hands-on experience in construction management, project financial management, and safety protocols.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project start-up activities and provide support to project engineers, superintendents, and managers.
- Coordinate meetings, track materials, manage files, handle document control, and prepare progress reports.
- Collect and review information to process shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
- Visit project sites to observe and document field activities.
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) from January through August 2027.
- A strong interest in construction management, business, and project financial management.
