About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Winter 2027. You will work on-site at active construction projects or within a department at our main office. This role is designed to help you build foundational knowledge in construction management, project safety, and subcontractor relations. You will apply your academic studies to real-world tasks while supporting our project teams.
What you'll do#
- Support project teams with material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting.
- Assist with project start-up and close-out preparations.
- Process shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
- Attend site visits to observe and document field activities.
- Help prepare estimates for changes in work and distribute subcontractor proposals.
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety programs and wear required PPE.
- Communicate with Architects, Engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Participate in meetings, training, and orientation sessions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program, such as Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- At least one year of completed education or equivalent experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A strong desire to learn about the construction industry.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and site signage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to standard business hours and occasional overtime.
