About the role#
The Communications and Content Creator Intern supports the University of Wyoming Foundation marketing and communications team. You will gain hands-on experience in storytelling, donor communications, and alumni engagement. This role involves working with staff to develop skills in writing, interviewing, and digital strategy.
What you'll do#
- Research, write, edit, and proofread materials for fundraising and donor stewardship.
- Create content for social media and digital channels to highlight student success and institutional priorities.
- Support alumni engagement through promotional campaigns and event-related communications.
- Assist with photography, videography, and graphic design projects.
- Participate in content planning meetings and collaborate with campus partners.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current University of Wyoming student.
- Experience in communications, marketing, content creation, customer service, or a professional office environment.
- Proficiency with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- A valid driver's license that meets university vehicle requirements.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Health, or Graphic Design is preferred.

- This is an on-site position based in Laramie, Wyoming.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- Hiring occurs on a rolling basis.
