    About the role#

    The Cross-Platform Media Coordinator provides student leadership for integrated media organizations at the University of Wyoming. You will coordinate operations, encourage collaboration among editorial teams, and support strategic initiatives that improve student learning and audience engagement. This position facilitates cross-platform communication while maintaining editorial independence.

    What you'll do#

    • Oversee student media operations and daily workflow.
    • Coordinate editorial direction, strategic priorities, and content standards.
    • Encourage collaboration between newspaper, digital, social media, and broadcast teams.
    • Support recruitment, mentorship, and professional development for student staff.
    • Attend weekly meetings with your supervisor and the student staff.
    • Work at least 20 hours per week in the office, with 15 of those hours occurring between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a University of Wyoming student with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
    • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Working knowledge of print, digital, social media, or broadcast media operations.
    • Availability to start work on Aug. 24, 2026.
