About the role#
We are looking for students to join our Summer 2027 Internship Program. You will support industrial engineering and manufacturing operations projects across our facilities. You will take ownership of a meaningful project, collaborate with experienced Associates, and build relationships across functions and facilities. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, business, and information systems teams.
- Contribute to projects in areas such as manufacturing execution, systems support, Lean manufacturing, and value stream mapping.
- Communicate key insights and recommendations based on your analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Industrial & Management Engineering, Industrial & Operations Engineering, Engineering Management, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Successful completion of at least your sophomore year before the internship begins.
- An intent to return to school after the internship ends.
- Ability to commit to a minimum 12-week program.
- Foundational knowledge of industrial engineering principles, Lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and operational excellence gained through coursework, projects, or previous internships.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- A strong interest in continuous learning and professional growth.
Location & details#
- Locations: Newark, Delaware; Elkton, Maryland; Phoenix, Arizona; and Flagstaff, Arizona.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site and hybrid opportunities are available, depending on business needs.
