About the role#
This Co-Op position offers hands-on experience in power generation engineering at the Fox Energy Center. You will work alongside a team of multi-disciplinary engineers to support the operation, maintenance, and performance of the facility. This is a full-time role starting in May or June 2027 and continuing through the end of the fall semester.
What you'll do#
- Perform equipment inspections.
- Troubleshoot operation and maintenance issues.
- Conduct failure investigations.
- Assist in managing small projects and provide general project support.
- Support equipment reliability and plant performance optimization.
- Provide plant control support.
- Review and update drawings and procedures.
- Ensure work meets relevant codes and standards.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering with a graduation date after July 2027.
- Minimum GPA of 2.8.
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSE.
- Valid driver's license.
- Related school project experience is preferred.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid position with an hourly rate of $23.10 and paid company holidays.
- Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
