About the role#
Williams offers a 10-to-12-week internship program for students pursuing degrees in engineering. This full-time, paid role provides hands-on experience in the energy industry. You will work on projects that support our core business and operating areas while collaborating with teams across various locations.
What you'll do#
- Build an understanding of Williams core business and operating areas.
- Gather and analyze real-time data to identify efficiencies and support asset maintenance.
- Contribute to major projects and capital expansions to build credibility with customers.
- Collaborate with teams across operating areas and fields to meet enterprise goals.
- Follow and support Williams Values in your daily work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, energy, mechanical, or petroleum engineering.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or beyond.
- A valid State Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Willingness and ability to relocate for the summer.
- Note that this position is not eligible for sponsorship.

- Locations: Tulsa, Oklahoma; Houston, Texas; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship. A $2,500 housing stipend is provided, with additional relocation assistance available for those moving more than 50 miles.
