About the role#
Wipfli is hiring for a Winter 2028 Audit Internship in Naperville, Illinois. This is a full-time, paid position that requires working on-site at our office or at various client locations. You will work alongside professionals to gain hands-on experience with audit procedures and client engagements.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures following firm and professional standards.
- Prepare or review financial statements, footnotes, management reports, and other engagement outputs.
- Use data analysis skills to identify information and patterns to support recommendations.
- Respond to requests from clients and firm associates in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate with engagement leaders regarding testing problems, open items, and other important matters.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Completion of a corporate or individual taxation class.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Progressing toward eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
- Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
