About the role#
This internship provides administrative, coordination, and project support to the project team at Wohlsen Construction Company. You will gain practical experience in commercial construction management during the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Collect, review, process, and distribute submittals and requests for information (RFIs).
- Prepare and distribute project documentation, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
- Assist with bid package coordination, quote coverage, project billings, and draws.
- Maintain accurate project files and logs, including permits, change orders, and closeout documentation.
- Support Project Managers with schedule updates and cost tracking.
- Participate in site walks, safety inspections, quality observations, and project team meetings.
- Coordinate with trade partners, design partners, and internal team members.
- Travel to project jobsites and regional offices as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong written communication, organization, proofreading, and follow-through skills.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to assigned jobsites.
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or scheduling software is a plus.

- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Physical requirements include office work, active job site visits, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs or ladders, and the use of personal protective equipment.
