About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship within the Power and Energy team. You will work on-site at our Saint Louis office as part of a 12-week program beginning May 17, 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside senior staff on real projects, with access to mentorship and networking through our Developing Professionals Network.
What you'll do#
- Support various engineering tasks to build your technical skills.
- Help with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
- Assist in preparing final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete training modules assigned to your role.
- Follow company policies regarding resources, conduct, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate, master, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Interest in Electrical Engineering and a desire to develop professional skills.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to take direction from mentors and communicate ideas effectively.
