    About the role#

    As an actuarial analyst in the Property & Casualty division, you will join a team focused on complex projects including pricing, product development, reserving, capital modeling, and software implementation. You will gain exposure to insurance operations while working alongside experienced consultants and credentialed actuaries.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with the pricing and development of personal or commercial lines insurance products.
    • Use predictive modeling techniques to improve risk segmentation.
    • Perform loss reserve analyses and prepare actuarial reports, Statements of Actuarial Opinion, and Actuarial Opinion Summaries using stochastic approaches.
    • Learn proprietary software to complete project tasks.
    • Build relationships with internal teams and client representatives.
    • Document, review, and present your work.
    • Create project plans and monitor progress against budgets and deadlines.
    • Participate in learning opportunities and maintain progress toward actuarial credentials.
    • Follow firm Excellence guidelines.

    What you'll need#

    • Completion of a Summer 2026 internship with WTW.
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related quantitative field to be completed within the next year.
    • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
    • Authorization to work legally in the United States indefinitely without visa sponsorship.
    • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office and Excel.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Work or extracurricular experience demonstrating technical, client service, or leadership skills.
    • Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is highly preferred.
    • Additional programming or software skills are preferred.

    • Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
    • Work Modality: Hybrid.
    • Employment Type: Full-time.
    • Compensation: $75,000 to $95,000 per year, depending on experience and exam progress, plus eligibility for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
