    About the role#

    As a co-op in the Fidelity Workplace Consulting group, you will join a team of over 400 professionals advising clients on the management of their domestic and global benefits. You will work with mid to large size companies to help them navigate the design, strategy, and delivery of their employee benefit programs.

    What you'll do#

    • Advise Chief Financial Officers and Human Resource Directors regarding retirement and other benefit programs.
    • Manage projects involving defined contribution calculations, plan administration support, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, plan amendments, and plan designs.
    • Create project plans and set expectations for both internal and client teams.
    • Prepare and deliver reports and client presentations.

    What you'll need#

    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
    • 0-3 years of experience in the 401(k), 403(b), or benefits consulting industry.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to learn quickly and develop complex spreadsheets for quantitative analysis.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across different organizational levels.
    • Interest in learning legislative and regulatory requirements, such as ERISA, IRS, and DOL guidelines.
    • Familiarity with database and spreadsheet programs.
    • An interest in pursuing QKA or QKC certifications is a plus.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid position.
    • Work is on-site in Boston, Massachusetts, or Westlake, Texas.
    • This role operates on a rolling basis.
